Fully stocked kitchen with a microwave, kitchen aid mixer, stove/oven, pots and pans, crock pot, griddles, plates, silverware and other cooking utensils.
Coffee maker with coffee, sugar and creamer provided.
Free high-speed WiFi.
2 Smart TVs.
Dining room table with plenty of seating (additional seating is available).
Additional refrigerator and freezer space.
Large porch/entry with capabilities to house pets (in kennels). *Please let us know if you are going to use this option.
7 bedrooms with 9 beds including 1 king, 1 full and 7 twin beds.
2 bathrooms stocked with toiletries (Soap, shampoo and conditioner, cotton swaps, makeup remover, etc.)
Hair dryer.
Plenty of additional linens.
Board games, cards and yard games.
Deck on back of house with gas grill to enjoy the sunrise and sunset.
Our Property Does NOT Include:
Handicap Accessibility (this is a split foyer home so there are steps to go upstairs and downstairs).
Food for cooking. Some spices are available but it’s best to bring what you need.
Outdoor table. We have a few chairs on the deck as well as camping chairs available.
Hunting licenses or gear of any kind.

Just a note…
Hello! We are Karen and Kathy, sisters who grew up just down the street from the lodge. We’ve since moved away from home but share many fond memories of this space. After our parents retired from operating a full-service hunting lodge a few years ago, we thought we’d open the house up to guests so you can enjoy it too. We’re sure our Countryside Hideaway is the perfect place for your next quiet trip to the South Dakota prairie! We look forward to hosting you!

This was a great place! I was traveling with my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids), plus my parents and my sister. It was more than enough space for all of us. We didn't stay long, but the kitchen and dining was well laid out and would have been easy to use with a big group. The hosts provided great personal recommendations for places to eat. They also had great little touches throughout the home. Each room had a charging block where you could plug in a charger or USB, super handy. They also left mints on each pillow which my kids (and husband) loved. The house was very clean and smelled so nice! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! ~ Jennifer D., Minnesota
